The Cliffrose Suite

Our adobe suite features the attributes of
a COTTAGE with privacy as a primary feature. The suite has a hand crafted front door with a front porch exhibiting the art of the architect/artist, Roy Davin. Roy also built the cabinetry in the bathroom, the kitchen and the bedroom closet doors. In the master bedroom one finds a king sized bed with a first rate firm mattress complimented by perfect bedside reading lights, a fan over the bed, a mirror, small chest, window looking out to the river and a full sized closet. The bathroom is decorated in a southwestern style, with mexican tiles in the shower and around the sink. A Kiva ladder holds bath towels and a large Kachina doll gives a southwestern blessing to the room. You will find a piano of tiger striped oak, a most comfortable sofa chair, a Taos day bed, small bookshelf, table and chairs for two and plants which soak in the light of the corner set of French doors in the living room. The French doors open out onto the river and the patio for spending leisurely evenings watching ole' man river rolling along. In addition, a small kitchen features a coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave, stove cook top, sink and dishes with another window looking out onto the San Juan River. Radiant heating allows one to walk on a warmed floor in the winter and though the adobe filters out much of the summer heat an air conditioner is available.
