The Cottonwood Room
The Cottonwood Room has its
own riverside entrance from a shared covered
patio, and each has a private bath with marble
tiled showers. Down a short hall is the dining room with a wall of windows overlooking the river. It serves also as a common-room with a sink, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, cups, glasses with a large table and comfortable chairs.
The Cottonwood Room has a wall of windows opening into the high branches of a grandmother tree whose base is 30 feet below at the river’s edge. It has a queen bed.
Located
on the north west wing of the B&B a private entrance from the covered
patio for evening relaxing, takes you into the Cottonwood room. Named
for the marvelous large mother cottonwood tree whose roots drink from
the river thirty feet below and whose limbs and green dancing leaves grace
the view out of the west wall of windows. A queen size bed with a first
rate firm mattress is complimented by super bedside reading lights and
a fan over the bed. The room furnishings include a sofa chair and lamp.
The private bathroom has a yellow marble tile shower with a glass block
window to let in light form the west. During the summer the B&B has
a swamp cooler (used in the desert usually superior to an air conditioner
for us). Auxiliary heating is available in the room to adjust the winter
room temperature to your desired level.
